Fenwick Bond Street

Margraf's newest undertaking is based in London, in collaboration with M/S Stoneage:230 sq.m. Fior di Pesco Carnico from the worldwide-only quarry in Forni Avoltri (UD), have been used to refurbish a large site in Fenwick Bond Street. The quarry is Margraf's exclusive exploitation. Taking the inspiration from Le Bon Marché in Paris, the project involved the restoration of an ancient palace to accommodate a multi brand store. Opened in 1891, the store immediately rose to style icon, and international fashion core in the British capital.
The interior design firm Brady Williams, in the person of Mr Shayne Brady, selected this opulent Margraf's marble because of its appealing colour tones, shading from grey and rose to white with ivory white streaks, teamed with coarse grain size: a perfect choice for the remake of this protected historical building owned by the British chain store. The final result is an amazing touch of uniqueness and timeless elegance of all interiors.
The Fenwick Group was founded by John James Fenwick in Newcastle, in 1882. At present, the Group Members include 11 multi-brand stores all over the UK. From this project on, the Group turns another bit more “made in Italy!”
