Vitruvius in Quarantine

MARGRAF STARRING IN MILAN, THE CAPITAL OF DESIGN® AND EXPO 2015
The policy of major investment in innovation and internationalization has led this Vicenza-based company to join the new Exhibition-Event ENERGY FOR CREATIVITY by INTERNI Magazine and forge a partnership with the famous architect Bernard Khoury, to create “Vitruvius in Quarantine, ” an imposing marble installation that will be on display in the gardens of the University of Milan from April 13th to May 24th. The work, designed by the Lebanese architect and created by the team of Margraf technicians and engineers, will consist of a series of rings made of Fior di Pesco Carnico marble forming a 10-metre-long tunnel. This exquisite marble has hues that change from grey to pink and white, with ivory streaks, and a coarse texture. It is an exclusive Margraf product extracted in Forni Avoltri (UD), the only quarry in the world that produces this marble.
