Role Description

The Area Manager is responsible for managing and developing relationships with both Italian and international clients, handling quotations, estimates, and commercial negotiations.
They coordinate market needs with production and logistics, promoting marble and natural stone blocks, slabs, and finished products, with the goal of strengthening and expanding the sales network, enhancing company products, and ensuring high-quality customer service, thereby contributing to the company’s growth and internationalization.
The position is primarily aimed at young candidates who wish to enter the marble industry, even without prior experience.
We offer an initial training period in the slab warehouse to acquire the necessary technical knowledge of the various types of natural stone materials and their applications.

Responsibilities and activities

• Initial training period in the warehouse;
• Researching new business opportunities in Italy and abroad and managing the active client portfolio;
• Sales activities and commercial consulting on company products;
• Analyzing customer requests and preparing personalized quotations and offers;
• Negotiating commercial terms (prices, timing, quantities, additional services);
• Monitoring order status and coordinating with the technical office, warehouse, and shipping;
• Attending trade fairs, quarry visits, and showroom activities to support sales;
• Gathering market feedback and reporting trends or new needs to management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or university degree (preferably in economics, business, or languages);
• Age between 25 and 35 (preferred);
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong negotiation ability;
• Goal-oriented with initiative;
• Knowledge of English (a second language is an advantage);
• Proficiency with IT tools (MS Office, CRM, email).
