The iconic Italian fashion label Versace has opened two new boutiques: one in Soho in the heart of New York, and one in the exclusive Americana Manhasset luxury shopping centre on Long Island.
French designer Gwenael Nicolas of the Japanese studio Curiosity is behind the design scheme. Bringing out the best of the blend between fashion and design, it complies with the strictest environmental sustainability standards. The first step on this front was the use of natural materials such as superior Margraf marble, which adds an exquisite, unique touch to the interiors.
The floors are decorated with Versace’s trademark Greek key pattern and they embody the essence of the label, which has been given a modern twist. White marble in a spellbinding variety of shades has been masterfully inland using distinctive water-jet technology, highlighting the unique luxury of the natural, timeless material, which is the perfect match for the brand’s philosophy and the designer’s style.
